For the first time in history, the New Labour Code expressly provides that sexual harassment  (quấy rối tình dục) at workplace is prohibited. Under the Old Labour Code, an employer is only generally required to give proper treatment to employees. The issue is how to define "sexual harassment" further under the implementing regulations of the New Labour Code.
